This year we will be giving out a special N10million Award to any school that is able to take the highest number of 1st places in a variety of sports above 3.
FOCUSED ON IMPACT
The vision of the Vision 1960 NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL is the rejuvinate sports in Nigeria, incorporating Primary and Secondary Education and include Amatuers and Professionals.
Sports has died in Nigeria and this festival is here to bring it back to life. It is a gathers of schools and street teams from all ages, from all parts of Nigeria coming together to prove who is truly the King in each and every sport.
SHOWCASE TALENT: The festival allows clear exhibition of talent to colleagues, scouts, media and family.
CASH AND PRICES: All events feature Cash, Medals and Cups for Teams, Schools and Players.
BRAGGING RIGHTS: The winner will have bragging rights across the country and in their home state.
All Games are divided into 7 Divisions, namely Junior Primary, Senior Primary, Junior Secondary, Senior Secondary and Amatuer Under 17, Under 21 and Adult Teams.
All Sports are represented including Swimming, Boxing, Badminton, Judo, Golf, Gymnastics, Football, Basketball, Wrestling, Boxing, Track and Field etc.
You can register by filling out an application and paying the required fee to secure your Team or Schools access to the Playoffs. It is a win in the playoffs that can guarantee your place in the national festival.
All Teams and Individual Athletes will play against teams in their State for a right to access to the national festival. The top 3 teams in all States will get to compete. All others are free to attend the festival.
The Sports Festival is a massive show, designed to showcase sports in Nigeria like never before. Its offers massive cash and awards as well as international Press and Documentary coverage to give athletes the maximum exposure.
After the Festival all teams both those who competed in the national festival and those who contested in the playoffs will automatically be allowed to play in a continuous league, sponsored by the Vision 1960 community.
Sponsors interplay in all events from Exhibitions to presentations and allows public interactions with decision makers.
Exhibits of Raw Minerals, Equipment, Services, plus meet and greets with Investors and Financial Institutions are a core aspect of our events.
